MEET CHRISTINA

Christina has been met with many obstacles over the years and understands what it means to struggle, make difficult decisions, and how some challenges are outside of our own control.  She continues to persevere and fight for a better life for her children, and she wants to do the same as a State Representative for families in her community.

She grew up in a small, rural town in Ohio with her parents and two siblings.  She learned the value of hard work from watching her parents provide for their family and she gained an understanding that working hard does not always mean you will have enough. During high school, she was very active in community service through her church's youth group and developed a love for helping others. One such activity involved delivering donated gifts to families in need during the Christmas season. She still recalls the way the children's faces lit up as they opened the gifts and how such a seemingly small act of kindness can go such a long way.

Christina's most important role is that of mother.  She is dedicated to her 3 children, ages 15, 13, and 4.  Christina spent the first 6 years of her teenagers' lives as a stay-at-home mom.  She enjoyed every moment spent snuggling, playing, and teaching her children.  She has been involved in their schools for as many years as they've been attending - from volunteering in classrooms and chaperoning field trips to organizing appreciation activities for teachers and staff.

In addition to her role as mother, Christina is a civil engineer.  Her responsibilities include mentoring other engineers and ensuring that quality products are provided to clients.  She will bring that same level of leadership and detail to the role of State Representative.

If elected, Christina will bring her knowledge of the community, her determination, and her desire to help others to Madison.  She will listen to members of the community and do her best to represent the 98th District and the community's needs.
